Welcome to Michael Warshauer Productions, The Indianapolis Division of Jetset Pictures

ISU Films

So if you didn't know, I attended a Radio/TV/Film seminar at Indiana State, and I have returned with two films.  The first is Untitled, starring Ashley Rodbro as a girl who finds Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and learns about the uses of art. This film was directed by myself along with Morgan McCormick and Tyler Perry.  The second film, "heart full of smoke" stars your's truely as a guy with a crush on our returning actress, Ashley, who already has a boyfriend, played by the writer Zac Stockton.  "heart full of smoke" was directed by Morgan, Zac, Tyler, and myself.  Both films are in the Movies section for viewing. I apologize for the poor quality of the films on the site, I'm workin on it.

Other News:

I wrote a short called "Nothing to Write About", a darker update of "Act Naturally", a film I previously wrote. I'm also working on a short that I came up with at ISU about the mob...you knew it was comming. Work on the murder mystery will hopefully keep commin along, but the story is long and complicated, and I still have summer reading to finish, so that's gonna take a while.

"Jack of Hearts"

So by now if you've been here before, you should know about my new movie, "Jack of Hearts."  Here's a synopsis for those of you who have not visited yet:

Jack is a normal teenager, confusion on everything.  But he in particular has a problem with girls.  You see, Jack fell in love with a girl named Anna, and their relationship was great until she found out that he was in love with her, and it kind of went down hill from there.  And just as hes debating over what to do, Ashley, his first ever crush comes back into his life, and he finds himself falling for her all over again.  But just as hes starting to get comfortable, he sees Anna, and falls for her again, only this time, she tells him that she realized that she loves him too.  Now Jack has a problem...

I want to start production of "Jack" once school starts, mainly because I'll be out of town. Anyone interested in working on it/being in it needs to let me know cause the sooner I get started, the better.

"The excitement and adrenaline you get from making a small film is that you all have to pull together. There are fewer of you and I love that, the fact that you know everyone."

-- Ewan McGregor

"Just keep writing. You know, write. Write for yourself. You should read everything, you should write for yourself, you should remember that particularly if you're going into film and television, you'll meet a lot of people along the way who are going to tell you the rules and the things you can't do. Those people who are telling you the rules don't know anything AT ALL, and you shouldn't under any circumstances listen to them."

- Aaron Sorkin
